Notification Categories

Community Notifications
Control notifications for community content:| Setting | Description | Default |

| Content Recommendations | New content matching your interests | On |
| Comment Notifications | Activity on content you engaged with | On |
| Trending Alerts | Popular content in your interest areas | On |
| Opt Out of All | Disable all community notifications | Off |
Opting out of community notifications does not remove content from your feed. You can still browse community content manually at any time.

- Community Notifications workflow is implemented in the UI as described.
Backend / API
- Backend behavior supports Community Notifications as documented.
Permissions
- Access is restricted per the Capabilities matrix on this page (or equivalent role rules).
Business Rules
- All business rules for this feature are enforced.
Error Handling
- Error states return clear messages and appropriate HTTP status codes.
Delivery Preferences
For each category:- Email notifications (on/off)
- SMS notifications (on/off)
- Push notifications (on/off)
